Robbie Curtis Memorial Scholarship

On August 22nd, 2018, Robbie Curtis passed away suddenly after a long battle with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Robbie had spent the eighteen previous years as an Advanced Care Paramedic with Regina EMS. Over his career, Robbie had saved lives, delivered babies, gave comfort to those in pain and made a difference in the lives of his patients and coworkers. Outside of work Robbie lived a life full of adventure, from a short stint working in Australia as a Paramedic, to scuba diving with sharks, sky diving, piloting small planes, playing his guitar on a Hawaiian beach to getting bit by a monkey; this man truly lived.

In his memory, the Curtis Family and Regina Paramedics with Heart have created the Robbie Curtis Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a Paramedic who shares the same commitment to their job and future education that Robbie did. A one-time payment of $2000.00 will be paid to the educational institute that the scholarship winner is attending. The scholarship will be chosen by the Curtis Family and the Regina Paramedics with Heart Board of Directors.
